The objectives of the study “The Study of Successful Characteristics of Chiang Mai Small and Medium Enterprises.” Is study of the characteristics of a successful entrepreneur. To measure the success of small and medium-sized enterprises. The samples were 60 personals of representative group of entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises to succeed of Chiang Mai. Tool used in this study was a questionnaire. Characteristics of Successful Entrepreneurs and nine top five indicators of success by comparing the performance of enterprises with competitors in 2014. The analysis includes all five of the characteristics of entrepreneurs and a measure of the success of entrepreneurs. BY privacy of respondents use mean, percentage and standard deviation. The results showed that Most respondents were female, aged between 40-49 years were married. Graduate degree. A small enterprise 4-6 years of experience in the business employs less than 10 people are funding the group. And brings intimate group. The analysis of the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs found that respondents are featured. In descending order from most to least: 1 ) The Need for Achievement Prime, 2) Desire for Responsibility 9) Attitude toward Money 7) Future Orientation 8) Management Skill 6 ) Energetic Activity 4 ) Perception of Probability of Success 5 ) Stimulation by Feedback and 3 ) Preference Moderate Risks. Further analysis of indicators of entrepreneurial success by comparing the performance of enterprises with competitors in 2014 found that respondents are featured. In descending order from most to least: 5) Future 4) People/Human Resource Development 3) Process Measures 2) Market/Customer Measures and 1) Financial Measures.
