Use of Physical Education Training Program to Develop Basic Volleyball Skills of the First-year Students of Vocational Diploma, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna-North Campus

The purposes of the study were (1) to develop basic volleyball skills of the first-year students of Vocational Diploma, (2) to investigate the effect of the use of physical education training program to develop basic volleyball skills and (3) to examine the extent to which the participants satisfy the physical education training program. The participants were the first-year students of Vocational Diploma enrolling in the Physical Education course in the second semester of 2012, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna-North Campus. The results of the study were as followed: 1. The students showed better volleyball skills. The pre-test mean score was at 16.28, which registered at the ‘Low’ level of performance quality with 1point. The posttest mean score was at 43.34, which subscribed to the ‘High’ with 4 points 2. The achievement mean scores of pre-test and posttest were significantly different at .01. 3. The students’ satisfaction with the physical education training program was found at the ‘Very satisfied’ level with the mean score of 4.81.
