The statistics used for an analysis of the data were a frequency distribution, percentage, arithmetic mean. and standard deviation. The results of this study were as follows : The overview of the Students in Industrial Education in 5 aspects of the folk culture conservation was found to be moderate as their arrangement form highest to lowest scores shown; (a) ritual performances (b) dressing / clothes (c) eating / cuisine (d) music and dramatics (e) language. The most crucial bemires the 5 aspects of conservation were. (1) the central spoken/written Thai language was officially prescribed as a medium of instruction rather than the local language, leading to the widespread use of the former after class and in family situations. (2) The northern styled clothes were inappropriate for Students in Industrial Education to wear in school day learning activities.(3) both local Students in Industrial Education tended to prefer different kinds of exotic / fashionable foods and customs to those of their own. (4) The most local Students in Industrial Education without opportunity to formally learn their local music and dramatics were found to get more experienced / familiar with those of the central Thai and the western ways instead. The suggested solutions to Students in Industrial Education in the conservation were; (1) to create educational institution curriculum including all folk cultures and custom, (2) to be good models in conservation, (3) to encourage students to perform in actual situations, and (4) to constantly promote students positive attitudes towards the local cultures / customs e.g. realization and pride of their importance. The government had to specifically and heartily carry out its policy towards this issue and to provide adequate financial supporters.
