The development of remember skills about vocabulary used in school through Big Book for students in grade 4-6

This research has an aim to create “Big Book” as a teaching tool to develop the skill in remembering English vocabulary for primary students of the 2ndclass level and the satisfaction attitude towards “Big Book”. The population was grade 6 students of Chang Kien school, Tambon Chang Puak, Muang Chiang Mai district, Chiang Mai Province. The numbers of the population were 26 students. The research was conducted during the first semester of 2556 academic year. The instruments consisted of the Pre-test, the Post-test, and the satisfactory questionnaire. The content of the “Big Book” involved with the vocabulary, the structure, and language usage. According to the research result, it found that “Big Book” can enhance the skill in remembering English vocabulary very well. However, it assisted very little about English grammar and language use. The satisfaction of the “Big Book” was in more satisfaction level.
