Achievement in learning computer Aided design According to the work Piece course: isometric

The research was aimed to study, develop, and find the efficiency of the instructional package for computer aided design : isometric for Higher Vocational Certificate Curriculum students majoring in Metal Technology, faculty of Engineering. The main reason for this research was the need to improve students who enrolled the course “Engineering Drawing : isometric” which they had low competency. Therefore, the instructional package for computer-aided design and drawing: orthographic reading leaded to the self-directed learning which strengthen students’ knowledge and enhance their practical skill in Engineering Drawing. The researcher conducted the classroom research purposed to compare the learning achievement of the isometric before and after the instructional process which would not be less than the 80/80 criterion. The sample group was 25 firstyear students majoring in the Metal Technology who enrolled the course “computer aided design ” in the academic year 2012. The instruments used in this research were the instructional packages of the isometric, Pretest/ Posttest, and the behavior form. The statistical analyses used in this research were means ( , the standard deviation (S.D.) The research was found that the students’ learning achievement were increased 15.20 %. Therefore, the instructional package for the Pictorial View reading enhanced student’s understanding in the course “computer aided design ”.
